Device for receiving, neutralising and diverting the condensate in a chimney

In a known device of this kind, the condensate arising in the chimney is collected in a collecting vessel containing a neutralising granulate. Removing and replacing the neutralising granulate after use is very unpleasant, strenuous and time-consuming. In addition, there is the risk that the collecting vessel may be filled with an incorrect amount of neutralising granulate. It is proposed that a granulate vessel for the neutralising granulate or the like be positioned removably in the collecting vessel. The device can be used in chimneys to divert and neutralise the condensate arising.
