The known devices are used in plant construction for absorbing constraining and loading stresses. These are radially symmetrical heat expansions of the pipeline and operational and disruption vibrations. The novel device is to be able to absorb the stresses simultaneously. The device is equipped with a securing means comprising two angle rockers (1, 2). The angle rockers form a U-shape and are connected via a connecting part (3) configured as a rotatable displacement sleeve. The free ends of the angle rockers are connected to a pipe (8) at diametrically opposite points, via an articulation (6, 7) in each case. (Figure 1) The device is suitable for supporting waste-gas pipes in boiler plants or flue-gas desulphurising plants. <IMAGE>
