PURPOSE:To improve the rigidity of rear frames by installing a rear cross member which extends in a vehicle width direction between said rear frames which are connected to the rear ends of side sills which extend in the longitudinal direction on the right and left of a body and forming a perimeter structure part. CONSTITUTION:Side sills 1 which extend in the longitudinal direction and which have closed section forms are provided on the right and left of a body. And, the front end part of a rear frame 2 having a U-shaped section is connected to the rear end part of each of the side sills 1. Further, both end bent parts 3a of a rear cross member 3 which has a U-shaped section and which extends in a vehicle width direction are connected to the rear end parts of the rear frames 2. And, the connecting parts between the rear frames 2 and both end bent parts 3a are formed into a perimeter structure parts by continuously connecting the respective U-shaped sections. Thereby, the rigidity of the rear frame parts 2 and strength against collision from behind can be improved.
