A sealing element (9, 10, 11) arranged between the adjoining sealing surfaces (3) of two hydraulic units (1 to 2) is presented, with at least two pressurised medium channels (5, 6, 7) passing through the sealing surface. The sealing element consists of a carrier plate (9) having bores (10) which are in alignment with the pressurised medium channels (5, 6, 7). Sealing elements (11) which seal the pressurised medium channels from the outside are also provided on the plate. Because of the seals being arranged on the carrier plate (9), they can all be fitted simultaneously in one operation. <IMAGE>
