PURPOSE:To make switching easy and to make continuation of a data processing possible by changing an address set to a network interface to process data in another host computer if an optional computer is faulty. CONSTITUTION:If a trouble occurs in a host computer 31 or a magnetic disc 61A or 61B, information indicating that information exchange is impossible because of the trouble of the host computer 31 side is displayed on a terminal 51. When an address code of a network interface 22 is inputted from a keyboard of the terminal 51, the address code inputted from the terminal 51 is set to a storage area of a network interface 41. Thus, the terminal 51 is switched and connected to a host computer 32 through network interfaces 41 and 22, and data from the terminal 51 is processed in the host computer 32 hereafter. |
