PURPOSE:To get in touch with a called party even if the called party is absent by recording a message of a caller by an incoming call given to a general subscriber telephone set and calling a paging receiver automatically. CONSTITUTION:In case of talking a message desired to be given, a caller uses a DTMF (Dial Tone Multi-Frequency) signal to send an identification number. When the received identification number is coincident with the identification number registered in a memory circuit 108, a control section 114 forms a 2-wires loop of a loop forming circuit 103 to bring the system into the dialing state. Then a dial tone from an exchange 3 is detected by a dial tone detection circuit 113 and the loop forming circuit 103 sends a paging dial number and the processing is finished. On the other hand, an exchange 3 receiving the paging dial number calls a paging receiver 6 via a paging controller 4 and a transmitter 5. Thus, even if the called party is absent, the caller gets in touch with the called party.
