PURPOSE:To enable only one of printing papers to be set into a feeding condition while the printing papers are fitted in position, by providing an operating means which engages a clutch means in conjunction with an operation of setting the pressure of bail rollers to be low by a changing means, and disengages the clutch means in conjunction with an operation of setting the pressure to be high. CONSTITUTION:When an operating lever 69 is set to a position II and the pressure exerted by bail and feeding rollers 7, 18 is set to a low value suitable for feeding a continuous form printing paper, a low cam surface 80c of a side face cam 80 is engaged with an engaging head part 81 of a transmission shaft 23, and a clutch means 77 is maintained in an engaged state by the action of a spring 78. When the lever 69 is set to a position I and the pressure is set to a high value suitable for feeding a slip printing paper, a high cam surface 80b of the cam 80 is engaged with the engaging head part 81 of the shaft 23, and the shaft 23 is moved rightward, whereby a gear 147 is separated from an opposite gear 139 in an axial direction, and the clutch means 77 is set into a disengaged state.
