METHOD OF MULTISTAGE CO-CONDENSATION OF VAPORS AND USE OF THIS METHOD

Multi-stage mixed condensation of vapours with caustic soda soln. as the coolant has for each stage a sepd. mixed condenser with a separate circuit for the coolant. The overflow of each circuit goes to the adjoining circuit which runs at a higher temp. and is discharged from the hottest. The concn. of the soln. is adjusted by adding conc. soln. or by overflow control. A part of the vapours to be condensed is condensed in a preliminary stage by fresh highly concd. coolant in a mixed condenser.
