The invention concerns a carrying device, for fork lift trucks in particular, consisting of a fork shaft (1) and a fork arm (2) angled away from the fork shaft (1), with the carrying device being fastened to the fork lift truck by the back of the fork shaft (1). The task of the invention was to design the carrying device so that bulky, light, but not palletisable goods can be transported safely and without rattling. This goal is achieved by having magnets (5, 6, 7) or suction devices (9) acting on the load to be carried by the carrying device located on the carrying device. <IMAGE>
