PURPOSE:To permit the smooth overflow of the excessive fruit by installing an overflow port at the transport starting edge of a vibrating conveyor and installing a sending-out rotary body on the downstream side in the transport direction, in the captioned device such as fruit selecting plant, etc. CONSTITUTION:The fruit 2 transported onto a vibrating conveyor 3 from a conveyor 1 through a chute is transported, dispersed in the direction A. Then the fruit is sent by each certain quantity onto an arranging conveyor 9, applied with a transport resistance of the rotary brush of a sending-out rotary body 4 which revolves at the revolution speed less than the transport speed of the vibrating conveyor 3 in the transport edge part. Therefore, a staying layer of the fruit 2 is formed on the vibrating conveyor 3. When the staying quantity increases, and the staying layer reaches a transport starting edge part 5, the fruit rolls down onto a chute 22 from an overflow port 6, and is retuned onto a return conveyor 24 through a pulling-out conveyor 23. Therefore, smooth overflow is permitted, and the fruit is prevented from being damaged.
