PURPOSE:To facilitate measurement of pavement condition by judging whether current pavement condition corresponds to any one of predetermined pavement conditions based on a difference between maximum and minimum pressures of suspension cylinder for every wheel and making the judgement displayable. CONSTITUTION:Pressure sensors 15 for detecting pressure in expansion chambers of respective suspension cylinders, i.e. suspension pressure, are provided to suspension cylinders 3, 4, 6, 7 for supporting front/rear and right/left wheels. Output signals therefrom are inputted together with output signals from a vehicle speed sensor 16, a brake sensor 17a and a steering sensor 17b to a controller 18. The controller 18 determines to which one of predetermined pavement conditions the difference between maximum and minimum suspension pressure per unit time corresponds, and prints out the result of determination on a printer 19. The result is read out and employed for determining repairing time of road in civil engineering work site. |
