PURPOSE:To enable the analyzing of an antigen to be measured apparently with no electric charge by electrophoresis, by making the antigen being measured react with an antibody specific thereto to bear an electric charge. CONSTITUTION:An antigen A to be measured apparently with no electric charge contained in a sample is made to react with a labelled antibody BL specific thereto. Here, the amount of the antibody BL to be applied is a bit more than the estimated amount of the antigen A. Then, with an electrophoresis, an antigen-antibody bonded body A-BL passes through a reaction carrier T while the antibody BL yet to react is bonded to the antigen A previously coupled to the reaction carrier T to be held on the reaction carrier T. Then, the amount of the labelled antibody BL on the reaction carrier is measured and the amount of the labelled antibody yet to react as measured is substracted from a known amount of the labelled antibody BL before reaction to determine the amount of the antigen A. |
