<p>PURPOSE:To have a high reliability of feeding the sheets of paper using simple constitution by controlling sheets through formation of a deflection to the sheet lying uppermost by a pressurizing member and a feed roller as well as by preventing double feed of the sheet subsequent to the uppermost one together therewith by the use of another pressurizing member. CONSTITUTION:When feed of the sheets of paper shall commence, a bottom plate 2 is heaved by a motor previously. Feed roller 12 is turned together with a lever 13 by the sheets 7 in stack, and a paper-up sensor 15 is put on at the position of upper limit. Now a solenoid 5 is energized to permit a pad 4 to press the sheets in stack 7. Then the feed roller 12 is rotated, and the uppermost sheet is solely separated to provide it with deflection. When the amount of deflection has attained a certain value to actuate a sensing switch 16, the solenoid 5 is deenergized to allow the pad 4 to rise. Thereby the uppermost sheet in deflection is allowed to hop forward, to be fed onto a transport roller 17. At this time, a sheet transport sensor 18 will become on to actuate energization of another solenoid 10, and now a pad 9 press the trailing edges of the sheets in stack.</p> |
