The invention proposes a load-bearing building floor with thin-walled profiled sheet-steel load-bearing members which are partially filled and sheathed with foamed plastic. Fastened on spaced-apart profiled sheet-steel load-bearing members is a lath arrangement, beneath which gypsum plasterboards are provided. Flat pressed wooden boards are screwed on the upper chord of the profiled load-bearing member, with the result that a shear-resistant connection between the flat pressed wooden boards and the profiled load-bearing member is provided. A screed covering is provided on the flat pressed wooden boards, with the interposition of a layer for damping the sound of footfall impact, the profiled load-bearing member being insulated with respect to each metal profile of the bordering walls. <IMAGE>
