The connector includes cut-out slots (4,5,6) forming two tongue-pieces (3) having cam-shaped projections (7) on their ends. The cam projections (7) are limited by a rear-cut lying parallel to the axis of symmetry (17) i.e. one mounting surface (9) and a screw-on plane (18) lying normal to this axis (17). The tongues (3) are abutment surfaces (8,18) dimensioned so that with screw in of the spacing element (10) into the take-up (receiving) zone (5) following mounting the two sheet-metal elements (1,2) together on to the abutment surfaces (8,18) the tongues lightly grip behind the take-up slit (11) with their rear cuts (9).
