摘要 |
PURPOSE:To accurately measure the shape of an object to be confirmed in real time by a simple means, on the assumption that the object to be confirmed is a rectangular parallelepiped. CONSTITUTION:The two-dimensional figure pattern obtained by a pattern input apparatus is converted to a binarized matrix pattern and pattern conversion for respectively converting the mutually adjacent n X n mesh points on the matrix pattern to separate direction codes based on to which direction the boundary line of the solid part and empty part of a figure is pointed is performed. Next, the number of direction codes wherein the boundary lines cross each other at a right angle are respectively counted to calculate the ratio of the count values and the side length or side length ratio of a rectangular object being an object to be confirmed is measured on the basis of said ratio.
