摘要 PURPOSE:To control the air fuel ratio as well as the ignition timing to the optimum value by correcting the basic ignition timing and the basic fuel feed quantity so that the maximum cylinder pressure timing matches with the target value preset based on the operation state of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 5 sets the target value of the maximum cylinder pressure timing based on the operation state detected by an air flow meter 6 and a crank angle sensor 7, corrects the basic ignition timing so that the maximum cylinder pressure timing detected by a cylinder pressure sensor 1 matches with the target value, and feeds it to an ignition unit 17. The basic fuel feed quantity is corrected so that the ignition timing after the correction matches with the basic ignition timing and fed to an injector 16. Thereby, the air fuel ratio is set to the preset value so as to attain the preset combustion speed. Accordingly, the air fuel ratio as well as the ignition timing are controlled to the optimum value regardless of the effect of the environment change or the like, and the torque generated, driving performance, and fuel consumption can be improved.
