PURPOSE:To prevent tight contact of two sheets of substrates in electrode terminal parts after sticking and to facilitate an operating for parting the terminal parts by sticking a 2nd plastic substrate printed and fixed with spacers to a 1st plastic substrate via a sealing material interposed therebetween and injecting a liquid crystal therebetween, then parting the 2nd plastic substrate. CONSTITUTION:The fibrous or spherical spacers 7 are incorporated into a resin and such resin is printed and fixed to the part of the plastic substrate 1 having the electrode terminal part 5 where said part is superposed on the terminal part 5 of the plastic substrate 2 facing said substrate in the case of producing the liquid crystal cell for which a plastic film consisting of polyether sulfone, polysulfone, polycarbonate, etc., is used as a substrate material. After two sheets of such substrates 1, 2 are stuck to each other, the plastic substrate 2 is parted and the part formed with the spacers 7 is removed together with the spacers 7. The tight contact of two sheets of the plastic substrates 1, 2 is thereby prevented.
