An apparatus for manufacturing a vehicle seat such as an automotive seat by bonding a top cover member (a), using an adhesive, to a cushion member (b) foamed by mold into a seat configuration, comprises an upper die (21) equipped with vacuum suction means (4) for securing the foam cushion member and a lower die (3) for receiving the top cover member. By virtue of the vacuum suction means operated, the cushion member is drawn and secured to the upper die, and lowering the upper die with the cushion member, the top cover member is pressed and bonded to the cushion member, whereas after the bonding, upon operating the vacuum suction means to cease air suction, the cushion member with the top cover member bonded thereto can be removed from the upper die, to thereby provide a seat. <IMAGE>
