PURPOSE:To increase the maximum energy product, and to minimize a reduction rate at a high temperature of the maximum energy product by distributing a specified second rare earth element in a predetermined manner in a magnet consisting of crystal grains containing specific first rare earth element and second rare earth element and the like. CONSTITUTION:Single or a plurality of first rare earth elements (RA), at least one second rare earth element (R) of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Dy, Ho and Tb, crystal powder including Fe and B, and crystal powder consisting of the element (RA), Fe and B having a sintering temperature higher than the crystal powder are mixed at predetermined ratios, molded in a magnetic field and sintered, thus manufacturing a magnet in the aggregation of crystal grains in which the element (R) is distributed to the peripheral section of the crystal grains and is not distributed at a central section or the concentration of the element (R) is lowered. The rare earth magnet, a Curie point of which is elevated, the maximum energy product of which is increased and a reduction rate of which at a high temperature of the maximum energy product is reduced, is prepared easily by the element distribution. |
