PURPOSE:To obtain a sublimation transfer material for cyan of three primary colors favorable in color forming properties and excellent in preservation stability of recorded images, by using a specified substance having excellent sublimity. CONSTITUTION:A cyan coloring matter for sublimation transfer type thermal recording, of general formula, is used to prepare a coloring matter ink, which is applied to a transfer substrate to produce a sublimation transfer material. The transfer substrate may be, for example, a ribbon- or film-shaped material of a condenser paper, cellophane or a resin such as a polyimide resin, a polyester resin and a polyether sulfone resin, treated for enhancing heat resistance and/or smoothness, etc. In the formula, R is a 5-12C alkyl or 5-12C alkoxyl- substituted alkyl. |
