PURPOSE:To automatically execute the succeeding processing of an exclusive control controller at the time of OS restart by updating an exclusive control controller table and a peripheral device constitution table at the time of switching a controller to a substitutive exclusive control controller. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated in a controller N1, the controller N1 is turned to a substitution exclusive control controller and a controller N2 is turned to a main exclusive control controller in the peripheral device constituting table 6 and a controller N2 in an exclusive control controller table 7 is turned to a main exclusive control controller. At the time of OS restart, the table 7 is receded to an exclusive control controller table receding buffer 8. After initializing the tables 6, 7 by referring a peripheral device constituting file 9, the table 7 is compared with the buffer 8. When conformability is not obtained as the result of comparison, the tables 6, 7 are reset based on the contents of the buffer 8 and exclusive control controller is succeeded.
