PURPOSE:To attain sufficient compensation against the temperature change by interposing an amplifier circuit between a temperature compensation circuit and an oscillation circuit. CONSTITUTION:A varactor diode for temperature compensation is provided in an oscillation circuit 9 and an impressed voltage for temperature compensation to the varactor diode is supplied via a stabilized power supply circuit 3, a temperature compensation circuit 8 and an amplifier circuit 14. Values of resistors 4, 5 and temperature compensation elements 6, 7 of the temperature compensation circuit 8 are selected to compensate the temperature drift of the amplifier circuit 14 and the oscillation frequency of the crystal AT-cut of the oscillation circuit 9. Thus, the voltage temperature change by the temperature compensation circuit 8 is amplified by the gain of the amplification circuit 14 to apply temperature compensation. Thus, the temperature compensation of the crystal oscillator not compensated by a conventional temperature compensation circuit is attained simply.
