PURPOSE:To provide a rubber compsn. which gives vulcanized products having excellent tensile strength and resistance to oil and heat, by blending a specific ethylene copolymer rubber composed of ethylene, propylene and a non-conjugated polyene with an arom. oil and an inorg. filler or carbon black. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene (a) is copolymerized with propylene (b) and 3-6mol.% of a non-conjugated polyene (c) such as 5-etylidene-2-norbornene, cyclopentadiene, etc. in such a proportion that the molar ratio of a to b is 86-97/14-3, the total amount of a and b is 6-17mol.% and the value of A in the formula [wherein P is mol.% of the component (b) in component I; D is mol.% of the component (c); E is mol.% of the component (a)] is >=0.1, thus obtaining an ethylene copolymer rubber (I). 100pts.wt. component I is blended with 10-150pts. wt.. arom. oil (II) which is process oil contg. at least 35% arom. component and 40-150pts.wt. inorg. filler such as silica, talc, clay, etc. and/or carbon black (III).
