摘要 PURPOSE:To make moving mass smaller as compared with a work as well as to enable high speediness in a slit cutter attainable, by installing a tool in a tip of the cross beam installed in a cantilevered state, and making this cross beam so as to be displaced by a lifting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When a camshaft 26 is rotated in an interval of 0 deg.-90 deg. in its turning angle, no displacement occurs in a cam follower, so that a tool 6 is kept at a down position. On the other hand, rotation of this shaft 26 is transmitted to a shaft 34, rotating a shaft 24 as far as a fourth, furthermore rotation of the shaft 34 is decelerated to one half, rotating a work support shaft 38 as far as an eighth, so that a work 1 rotates as far as an eighth and then comes to a stop, while in an interval of 90 deg.-90 deg.+alpha, the cam follower and support shafts 38 and 39 are all stopped. When the shaft 26 rotates as going beyond this 90 deg.+alpha, the cam follower is gradually pushed up whereby the tool 6 is moved in the tangential direction while rotating, thus a slit is formed in the work 1. And, when the turning angle of the cam reaches 270 deg., the tool 6 moves upward, thus one slit cutting is finished.
