ELECTRO PLATTING CELL

The electroplating appts. includes an anode basket contg. plating metal and having a porous tubular wall. Rotatable agitating vanes are disposed in a plating cavity about the basket. A Cu rod is attached to the anode basket for appln. of electrical potential to the metal and for rotating the basket. Ultra-high current density electroplating cell for electrodeposition of Pb-Su alloys on sleeve bearings. A relatively low volume of plating soln. is moved between anode and workpiece which reduces pumping pressure. The loading and unloading of workpieces is facilitated by eliminating anode changes. Maintenance is reduced.
