The sofa bed is adjustable between seating and bed positions by turning the frame (15). To obviate removal of the seat (2) and back support (6) cushions (1,2) when adjusting to the lying position, the back support is connected to a body in the unit pivotable around a longitudinal axis (7) at its upper edge. - The back support is connected to the frame (15) via a brace (21) allowing it to be pivoted backwards when the frame is moved to the lying position. The frame (5) is also fixed in the body via a brace (18) in front of its centre line when it is in the sitting position. |
