PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive wire applicable to a superconductive magnet from a powder of a layered perovskite type superconductor represented by La-M-Cu-O, or by mixing powders of several components containing these element. CONSTITUTION:After a powder mixture 1 of oxides and carbohydrates of La, and M(=Sr, Ba, Ca) and Cu is plasma sprayed continuously onto a strip 2 made of stainless steel or the like, it is processed at about 900 deg. to 1100 deg.C. The power mixture 1 on the strip 2 is then processed at about 500 deg. to 700 deg.C so that its component combine, and a layered perovskite type superconductive compound 3 is thereby formed to give a superconductive wire 4. Alternatively, the powder mixture 1 may be processed at about 500 deg. to 700 deg.C after the powder 3 is plasma-sprayed continuously onto the ordinary conductive strip 2 to give the compound superconductive wire 4. |
