PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is excellent in releasability from a mold of, e.g., wood, metal, glass, FRP or the like, by mixing a vinyl ester resin with a specified polyoxyalkylene glycol. CONSTITUTION:The title composition prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. vinyl ester resin (A) (e.g., novolac vinyl ester resin) with 0.001-5pts.wt. polyoxyalkylene glycol (B) of an MW of 200-5,000, comprising 2-6C oxyalkylene units (e.g., an oxyethylene/oxypropylene block polymer). The addition of component B makes it possible to form the title composition which can give a molding which can be easily released from a mold of, e.g., wood, metal, glass, FRP (fiber- reinforced plastic), etc. and retains wholly the transparency of the resin itself. Therefore, it can be suitably used for molding castings requiring transparency, such as transparent plates and optical lenses, as well as FRP moldings such as bathtubs, septic tanks and tanks.
