Windrow spreader 3, which is pulled behind a road grader 1 or equivalent and with which the road material loosened by the road grader is spread out evenly on the road surface 5, and which spreader has traction members 6 for pulling the spreader, freely rotating pivotable wheels 7, and a blade 4 which spreads out the windrow and which forms an opening with the road surface 5. Present-day spreaders have two wheels which are arranged essentially at the same distance from the blade 4. This is why the spreader "bolts" when the blade impacts a stone or other obstacle. The invention has solved this problem in that the wheels 7 are three in number, and two of the wheels are arranged behind the blade 4 of the spreader 3 and one is arranged in front of it. <IMAGE> |
