DATA SELECTING SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To accurately extract effective data from redundant information by extracting effective data from output data of a processor based on data where the indication of a function to be executed is added to gathered source data. CONSTITUTION:CPUs 11-13 receive source data to monitor the reception allowable time of each of respective functions A-C in accordance with the function indicating bit of this data and expresses execution of functions with the display bit is processing results. Consequently, redundant computer outputs data of functions A-C are outputted to a network in case of input of the occurrence of two kinds of events. These data are gathered to a selecting device 16 through an event detector 20 and a transmission line 17. When output data from CPUs 11 and 13 for processing of the function A are received in the reception allowable time of the function A, the selecting device 16 uses this data as effective data to perform the majority decision and performs the output control of the function A for a process 30.
