PURPOSE:To improve memory efficiency and transfer efficiency by transferring only a necessary file from a host machine to respective function terminals and synchronizing data stored in the host machine with that stored in respective function terminals. CONSTITUTION:The host machine 10 divides held data into plural data D1-Dr and stores these data as files F1-Fr obtained by adding respective file identification numbers ID and updating level numbers L to respective data D1-Dr in a storage device 12. In addition, the host machine forms and stores a file table T storing terminal codes N indicating function terminals storing these files by using the ID as a key. Each function terminal 20 stores only the file necessary for the processing of the terminal itself out of the plural files F1-Fr, and at the time of updating the file stored in itself, updates the updating level number of the file concerned.
