<p>Sheets of a flexible and absorbent material, such as cellulose wadding, are arranged on one another and interleaved so as to form a stack. It is thus possible to remove the sheets individually via an opening in the box in which they are packaged. It is possible to propose small-size boxes without reducing the format of the sheets, by folding the latter longitudinally along one or more folding lines before interleaving them.
