PURPOSE:To improve thermal stability by impregnating high-purity Al into porous parts of a ceramics superconductive material. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive wire is formed by impregnating high-purity Al 2 into porous parts of a ceramics superconductive material 1 and coating the whole with a coating layer made of high-purity Al. It is preferable to use Al which has purity of 99.999 % or more. When this A; is melted to soak the superconductive material 1, the Al can be impregnated into the porous parts of the superconductive material 1 and concurrently the periphery of the superconductive material 1 can be coated with Al. The porous parts are normally formed 10% to 20% in the superconductive material 1 after the sintering process, and high-purity Al 2 is impregnated in these porous parts. When the superconductive material 1 is transferred to be on a normal conductivity state from the superconductivity state, the high-purity Al 2 impregnated into the porous parts and the high-purity Al 2 serving as the coating layer 3 are made to function as bypaths accordingly, and so thermal stability of the superconductive wire can be secured.
