MESSAGE TRANSMITTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent the loss of a message even when the faults including these of the decentralized computers occurs by transmitting the transmission confirmed information as well as the information showing the end of transmission of the final block of the message. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1-1 sends a message added with the end display data to a terminal 1-3 and also holds this message. A decentralized computer 1-2 confirms that the message is normally received by a terminal 1-3 and is set under a reception waiting state against the computer 1-1 to receive a transmission confirmed block from the computer 1-1. In addition, the computer 1-1 receives an acknowledge from the computer 1-2 after transmission of said transmission confirmed block and deletes the held message. Thus it is possible to transmit the message with no loss despite the fault produced at the computer 1-2 or a circuit set between the computer 1-2 and the terminal 1-3 owing to a fact that the confirmed information is added to the transmitted message.
