PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is capable of fixing even in case of a high speed, by heating a recording body by heat from a press-contacting roller, feeding in the recording body between an image carrying body and the press-contacting roll, and transferring and fixing a powdery image on the image carrying body, to the recording body. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 on the circumferential surface of a drum is rotated clockwise, is charged uniformly by a charger 2, and subsequently, an electrostatic latent image of an original image is formed by an exposing device 3, and is developed by a developing device 4. A toner image on the photoreceptor 1 is pressed and transferred to an intermediate transfer body (endless belt) 5 which rotates by synchronizing with it, and on the other hand, recording paper P is fed out by a paper feed rolls 6, and is fed in between a heating roll 7 and a guide member 8. The heating roll 7 is a roll being in a press-contacting state with the intermediate transfer body 5 at least at the time of transfer, is formed by thinly covering a metallic roll of aluminum, stainless steel, iron, etc., with rubber and is provided with a heating heater 9 in the inside. |
