发明名称 BURR DETECTOR FOR UPSET PIPE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the labor for deburring and to automatize it by detecting spot light projected on the surface of an upset pipe in a slanting direction and detecting the center line of the position variation signal of the spot light based on the rotation of this pipe. CONSTITUTION:The light of a semiconductor laser 3 is converged 4 and projected on the surface of the upset pipe 1 to be inspected which is rotated by a rotating device. The irregularity reflected light 6 of the fine spot light 5 on the surface of this pipe 1 is photodetected 7 to form its image on a position detecting element 8. The local variation component of the position variation signal 10 obtained by a spot light position variation detecting circuit 9 is extracted 12 from the detection signal and a level decision device 13 extracts a signal exceeding a certain level. Further, a width decision device 14 judges a waveform which is larger than a certain width as a burr and removes other signals to obtain a signal corresponding to the burr. Consequently, the position and height of the burr are detected. Thus, noncontact detection is possible and the operation is automatized by controlling the rotation stop position of the pipe 1 and a deburring device with the detection signal.
