PURPOSE:To execute feeding in and leading out of a probe automatically at a high speed and to reduce the size and weight of a device by connecting a printed motor to the end of a drum which takes up the probe and controlling the forward and backward rotations and speed thereof. CONSTITUTION:The printed motor 10 is connected to the end of a drum shaft 6 of the drum 1 and a code shifter A and a puller B are operated via a belt 14. The feeding in of the probe P is executed by inserting the probe into the inlet of a capillary to be inspected and subjecting the probe P to pistonlike feeding by an air piston 2. The motor 10 is rotated in the direction to return the drum 1 at this time. The cord C is orderly returned from the drum 1 as a guide roller 13 moves upward and downward. The returned cord passes the spacing between a driving wheel 18 and friction roller 22 of the puller B and stops when the cord arrives together with the probe P at the terminal of the capillary. The leading out operation is then executed by presetting the leading out speed of the motor 10 and winding the cord C of the probe P on the drum 1. The guide roller 13 is moved upward and downward by means of a belt 14 put on a belt wheel 12 of the motor 10 and a belt wheel 15 at this time to take up the cord C orderly on the drum 1.
