PURPOSE:To automatically return to the normal control mode by connecting a diagmonitor to a control processor, and erasing an information stored in a backup memory part at a time when said connection is disconnected. CONSTITUTION:A means that erases an information stored in the backup memory part 2-2 at the time after the connecting of the diagmonitor 6 to the control processor 1 and when this connection is disconnected, is provided. When an abnormality is detected, the microprocessor 1 is shifted to the abnormality detection mode, and abnormality information is stored in the memory part 2-2. If the diagmonitor 6 is connected to the interface circuit 5 of the microprocessor 1, said abnormality information is read out to the microprocessor 1, and the analysis of it is executed. The result is displayed in the connected diagmonitor 6 in a prescribed code. A repair man confirms this display, and controls to disconnect the diagmonitor. Accordingly, the information in the backup memory part is automatically erased, and the control mode is recovered.
