PURPOSE:To enable a 2nd agent to perform a centralized control to all boot load information received from both higher and lower rank devices, by transmitting the boot load information received from a higher rank device to the 2nd agent from a 1st agent. CONSTITUTION:When the start is given from a higher rank device 7, the device 7 sends the boot load information to a 1st agent 1. The agent 1 receives the boot load information via a transmissive boot load information transfer means 11 and transfers it to a 2nd agent 2 via a bus 5 having a message delivery function. While a lower rank device 1 also sends the boot information to the agent 2 when the start is given from the device 1. In such a way, the agent 2 collects and stores the boot load information regardless of the devices that gives the start. Then the agent 2 transfers successively the information needed for all agents and actuates these information. Thus the agent 2 can perform the centralized control for the entire boot load operations of devices.
