PURPOSE:To obtain the subject hot water boiler of low fuel cost, which is suitable for home and agricultural uses by dipping an internal combustion engine into water within one chamber of a can body having two chambers to heat water, and driving a heat pump by the shaft output of the internal combustion engine to recover the external heat. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 10 is driven by an internal combustion engine 9, water 5 in an upper chamber 3 is heated by a heat generated by the internal combustion engine 9. Onthe other hand, water 6 in a lower chamber 4 is heated by a heat pump consisting of the compressor 10, an external vaporizer, and the like, and thus three waters are heated to different temperatures. The heat of the water gas of the internal combustion engine P is recovered in the water 5 through a heat exchanger 15. Thus, water in the upper chamber 3 and that in the lower chamber 4 are heated to different temperatures, that is, the upper chamber 3 is heated to a high temperature and the lower chamber 4 is heated to a low temperature, and these waters can be utilized for hot water supply and room heating. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain the above hot water boiler suitable for home and agricultural uses. |
