PURPOSE:To confirm simply all the content stored in an ROM without removing the ROM from a receiver. CONSTITUTION:The receiver is in the stand-by state of a synchronizing signal as the initial state, and when the synchronizing signal is received, the mode is the stand-by state of the own call number. When a receiving controller 3 receives the own call number, a display controller 4 is started in the specified timing. The display controller 4 receives display information succeeding to the call number and discriminates whether the display information is a test code (P-ROM readout start information) or not, and when the test code is received, the mode is discriminated as the test mode, a power supply is applied to the circuit relating to the display, the P-ROM readout program in the display controller 4 is executed, and the content in the P-ROM8 is all outputted automatically to an LCD6 via an LCD controller/driver 5. When the end code written in the final part of the data of the P-ROM is read out during the execution of program, this program is extracted and the mode returns to the normal receiving operation. |
