PROCESS FOR PREPARING HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS

Heterocyclic compds. of formula (I) and their acid addn. salts are prepd. by reacting diamines of formula (II) with halocyanogen such as bromocyanogen prepf. at room temp. in a mixt. of ethanol and tetrahydrofuran. In the formulas, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each H, halogen, or C1-6 alkyl or alkoxy; R5 is H, C1-6 alkyl or C3-6 alkenyl; R6 is C1-6 alkyl, C3-6 alkenyl, phenyl (opt. substd. by halogen, alkyl or alkoxy) or a gp. (III); R'1 and R'2 are as defined for R1 and R2; n is 0-4; X is O, S or CH2. (I) have antiallergic, antihistaminergic, antiserotonin and thrombocyte-aggregation inhibiting activities.
