PURPOSE:To contrive to suppress a white balance error due to zoomup photographing by providing a pattern magnification means due to electric signal processing. CONSTITUTION:A color signal is subject to prescribed control by a gain control circuit 1 respectively, combined with a luminance signal YL at a matrix circuit 3 to obtain color difference signals R-YL, B-YL. The color difference signal drives the gain control circuit 1 to input the color temperature information for white balance adjustment to a white balance control voltage generating circuit 7 via a gate circuit 8. Then the picture angle control is applied by the pattern magnification device 4 before the result is inputted to an encoder 6 generating a TV signal output to obtain zoomup effect. Thus, the white balance is adjusted automaticaly stable with high accuracy even at the photographing using a telescopic effect.
