The invention relates to an apparatus intended for limbering-up of the legs and, more particularly, to rapidly but progressively obtaining their maximum facial spacing. This apparatus is characterised in that it includes a seat 1 whose position can be adjusted and which is associated with two leg supports 2 and 3 rotated by virtue of a mechanical or electrical drive means 4. Each leg support rotates about an axis 5 located on the frame 6 of the apparatus substantially vertically with respect to the hip joint. The apparatus according to the invention may be used for re-education or for limbering-up in clubs or directly in the home. <IMAGE>
