PURPOSE:To sufficiently shape the vertical deflecting magnetic field, suppress the eddy current by the leakage magnetic field of the horizontal deflection, and prevent the heating of magnetic bodies by providing multiple wire-shaped magnetic bodies independently arranged to extend in the direction of the vertical deflecting magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:Wire-shaped magnetic bodies 5 are constituted of fine wire- shaped magnetic body elements 6 applied with an insulating coating 7 respectively and a film 8 fitting them together below the vertical core of the neck section of the bobbin 2 of a deflecting yoke. Individual elements 6 are arranged in parallel in the same direction as the vertical magnetic field 20 and arranged vertically to the leakage magnetic field 10 of the horizontal magnetic field. Accordingly, the area of the magnetic bodies where the eddy current generated by the interlinkage of the horizontal magnetic field can flow is small, the resistance value is increased, and the eddy current is made hard to flow. As a result, the temperature rise is reduced.
