摘要 PURPOSE:To keep power generation efficiency for a long time by perforating electrode plates with dispersed large and small holes to improve the effect of phosphoric acid reservation. CONSTITUTION:Electrode plates 2, 3 are produced by each process of material kneading, molding graphitizing treatment and processing. At the material kneading, carbon fibers, gas-permeable scaly graphite fine powder and organic binder to bind them are mixed to disperse homogeneously, and then the knead material is sprayed uniformly on a surface plate. Next, the material is pressed, heated and molded. Then, by graphitizing the molded plate through baking in a reducing furnace, a porous graphite plate is produced. Finally, electrode plates 2, 3 are obtained by the mechanical processing thereof. Because of the porosity of thus produced electrode plates 2, 3 and, furthermore, that of graphite powder dispersed in the molded plate, electrode plates with dispersed large and small holes throughout the surface are obtained. By the dispersing large and small holes in the electrode plate, a large total volume of holes with an improved effect of phosphoric acid reservation is achieved.
