PRODUCTION OF CERAMICS SUPERCONDUCTING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-purity ceramics superconducting material, by specifying the material of a vessel for containing a raw material therefor in producing the ceramics superconducting material for melt of the raw material. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics superconducting material is produced from melt of a raw material therefor. In the process, a vessel for containing the melt thereof has a higher melting point than that of the ceramics superconducting material and elements constituting the vessel are formed of the same elements as those constituting the ceramics superconducting material. The above- mentioned method utilizes the following phenomenon. The content of the constituent elements can be varied to change the melting point even if the ceramics superconducting material consists of the same constituent elements.
