<p>PURPOSE:To improve the shape quality of a rolled stock by installing a shape parameter recognizing point selection device and a matrix calculator linearly converting plural power series coefficients, respectively and converting a control model by a conversion matrix. CONSTITUTION:A power series converter processor 10 is connected to a shape detector 5 installed on the outlet side of a rolling mill 1; a shape parameter recognizing point selection device 17, a conversion matrix calculator 18, and a shape parameter converter processor 11 are installed, respectively. At the time of outputting an elongation percentage signal at plural points in the stock width direction by the detector 5, the converter 10 outputs power series coefficients of quarternary, etc., by use of the least squares method; the selection device 17 selectivity outputs respective recognizing points. Then, the converter 11 converts a control model by a conversion matrix and a control amount calculator 12 controls respective control amounts. The shape control accuracy is improved then the shape quality is also improved.</p> |
