<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove hydrogen halide, NOx and SOx, by a method wherein NH3 is mixed with exhaust gas containing hydrogen halide, NOx and SOx and, after the generated solid particles are collected and removed, NH3 is subsequently mixed with the exhaust gas to allow said gas to pass through an adsorbing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas containing hydrogen halide, NOx and SOx is passed through a cooler 11 and mixed with NH3 injected from an NH3 injection apparatus 13 to form solid ammonium chloride which is, in turn, collected and removed by a dust collector 15. Subsequently, the exhaust gas is mixed with NH3 injected from an NH3 injection apparatus 19 if necessary to be sent to an adsorbing apparatus 21 and the ammonium salt in the exhaust gas is decomposed into NH3 and hydrogen halide, and hydrogen halide and SOx are adsorbed by activated carbon while NOx is reduced and NH3 is absorbed by H2SO4 generated on activated carbon. By this method, purified gas is discharged.</p> |
